About the Author
Chukwumogor Chris Nwani (CCN) was born on the 20th of October 1975 in Ezi Village, Aniocha-North Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria. He was raised in the same village where children were taught to pride in progressive ideologies and where hard work and determination to get things done in the right way is a written creed in the heart of his family members. He attended Paul Emechete Primary School, Ezi and Ezi Secondary Commercial School before proceeding to the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, where he obtained his Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) respectively in Secretarial Administration.
After he graduated from IMT Enugu in 1999, he was called up for the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) where he participated in the NYSC Orientation Camp and his NYSC Primary Assignment to his country in Abuja – Federal Capital Territory, from July 2000 to June 2001. At the completion of his NYSC Primary Assignment, Chukwumogor secured employment with Standard Trust Bank (STB) PLC, now known as United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC. He left the banking industry after putting in five years of service as a Senior Administrative Officer, to pursue his dream for a New Nigeria.
Chukwumogor has several post-graduate experiences cutting across different spheres of life. From 2006 when he left the banking profession, he started personal training on Attitudinal Change, Leadership and Nation Building classes at the Abuja Leadership School, headed by Barr. Bennie Alika. He is also one of the founding members of the Nigerian Transformation Movement of the Agape Center led by Moses Ajayi and also a member of the Class 026 – The Oak Seed Executive Leadership Course of the Institute for National Transformation (INT), Abuja, founded by Prof. Vincent Anigbogu. With these different trainings on nation building, he became extraordinarily equipped to carve a niche for himself in helping people identify their potentials and to embrace attitudinal change and to live a life of purpose.
In the year 2010, Chukwumogor founded a non-governmental organization known as YOUTH AFRIQUE LEADERSHIP FORUM (YALF), a platform he started using to educate, sensitize and mentor both the old and young people on attitudinal change, influential character and leadership pragmatism. Owing to its unique vision and mission, YALF was given a Consultative Status of the United Nation in 2014.
With successful completion of his books and establishment of YALF to drive his ideological contents in the book, which centered on educating people to embrace excellent citizenship and leadership character, his target to achieve a full-scale national orientation for effective nation building is closer and will be implemented perfectly in Africa more than ever before. These books are surely waiting for Africans to use the contents therein for healthy renaissance and implementation of a functional society
Since the publication of his books, the slogan “A New Nigeria Is Possible” has become a household name amongst Nigerians politicians and masses; and has become one of the songs and sounds keeping the hope for a better Nigeria alive, amid deteriorating socio-political and economic situations that had left the country’s economy porous and cumbersome to manage. His message of hope as written down in his books transcends and resounds as a pivotal patriotic crescendo, becoming one of the available literatures that Nigerians can learn from as the search for a progressive Nigerian society continues. Chukwumogor is one Nigerian who does not only believe in the emergence of a New Nigeria but also working the talk and helping others renew their minds for achieving the Nigeria of their collective dreams.
With the development of good contents for the New Nigeria vision, Chukwumogor’s practicality in advocating for a New Nigeria spurred the bringing of like minds together in pursuance of the New Nigeria vision and has continued to drive the New Nigeria national orientation mandate, with the consciousness that he owes his country the duty to prepare the populace for realizing a functional Nigerian society. His choice to be part of anything pro-Nigeria and to always defend the integrity of his country anywhere he finds himself is easily noticeable in his conversations, actions and inactions. It is difficult to win a debate against him each time the opportunity to prove that a New Nigeria is indeed possible. His works were evident and comprehensive enough to be adopted by others, which led to the formation of a coalition of five different non-governmental organizations under the umbrella of the New Nigeria Is Possible (NNIP) Vision Team.
With his personal dedication and the synergy and passion amongst members of the New Nigeria team and the leadership roles he has been playing, he was able to accomplish the following:
Visits to different National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camps to train young Nigerians in attitudinal change and the imbibing of progressive character for effective nation building, with the theme “A New Nigeria Is Possible With The Emergence Of Alternative Leaders” (From 2009 to 2013)
Held seminars on Attitudinal Change and Leadership Pragmatism in different tertiary institutions in Nigeria for undergraduates, teaching and non-teaching staff.
The declaration of the New Nigeria Is Possible (NNIP) Vision, was held on October 1, 2020 in Abuja to establish the NNIP Team’s vision.
Hosted a 2-day conference titled “We The People Of Nigeria (WEPON) NATIONAL RECONCILIATION SUMMIT“ with other members of the NNIP team. This was aimed at reconciling the differences, offenses and feuds amongst the different ethnic groups in Nigeria to reinforce the need for the unity, peace and progress of the country.
Organized road shows every Monday morning at the three major entry points into Abuja metropolis to enlighten citizens living in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria for a period of 2 years (2021 -2023). This was aimed to sensitize the general public on the principles of the New Nigeria which includes the activation of moral values, patriotism and citizenship/leadership responsibility ahead of the 2023 Nigeria General Election.
Chukwumogor has also developed a holistic national orientation strategy that will work for Nigeria and other African countries. He initiated special seminar topics such Conscience Realignment, Attitudinal Change and Citizenship/Leadership Responsibility to help Africans understand their redemptive gifts and to delve into important nation building principles for easy awakening of a strong and patriotic citizenship and leadership roles towards enthroning functional societies in Africa.
He also came up with the New Nigeria Dream that could trigger an overwhelming national renaissance in charging the way forward for Nigerians.
The story about Chukwumogor will be incomplete if it does not mention his humanistic nature, which is the driving force behind all that he is doing. He believes that all people irrespective of their societal status and beliefs deserve equal respect and that there is no individual that is more important than the other because everyone has his/her own unique role to play. Again, that it is the role of every human to help others play their own roles rather than segregate or detach from them owing to their presumed inabilities and differences. No one is disadvantaged as there is always an ability in every assumed inability. Every human being has the capacity to learn. This means that when people are taught ways to live a better life and to progressively adopt excellent lifestyle, even if it takes time, they will eventually understand and wish to be better, when they are shown the way to go, in a friendly manner. Chukwumogor is firm and unshakeable in the belief that love and truth unlocks successful living.
To him, the world is waiting for a higher version of human civilization and decency to make a huge difference in altering the way human beings see and relate with one another, which must evolve around living for the good and support of one another. This is the easiest way to meet up with the demands of upholding global serenity and sanity, capable of quelling ongoing global crises and insufficiencies that are undeservedly ravaging humans amid plenty of resources that can go round.
For this purpose, he wrote the book titled GLOBAL HARMONY, to reveal the secret of how citizens of the world can become “real human beings”, capable of restoring love, family ethics and even development, for the joy and happiness of the whole world. For him, he believes that every human challenge has a solution, if only people can answer these questions: “Why the problem?”, “What are the causes?” and “How to reach the desirable solutions?”. He believes that when human beings start providing answers to these three questions compassionately, every problem in the world will be amicably resolved and there will be unparalleled achievement of Global Harmony all over the world.
In his mind, he is just beginning his journey of life as he hopes to make his presence on the earth one of the remarkable occurrences that will change the world for good.
